About Ted
Ted is a lifelong resident of Little Compton who started working at the age of eight sweeping his grandfather’s shop, Burns Power Tools. He quickly moved up to tool repair and saw-sharpening there, while learning some of the plumbing trade from his other grandfather, F.M. Bodington, Sr., and his father F. M. Bodington Jr.
Ted proudly went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps where he worked as a Military Police Officer. Ted eventually went on to join the Middletown Police Department from which he retired in 2008. He has served his local community with 14 years on the Little Compton Town Council.
